Intinerary

Departure: 9:00 AM from Playa Tambor / Playa Pochote

Meet at the departure point (Playa Tambor or Playa Pochote) by 8:30 AM.
Board the private boat and receive a brief introduction to the day’s itinerary.
During the boat ride to Isla Tortuga, enjoy the coastal scenery, the tranquility of the sea, and the stunning views of the Nicoya Peninsula.
Travel time: Approximately 30-40 minutes.

9:45 AM – Arrival at Isla Tortuga

Arrival at the idyllic Isla Tortuga, known for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters.

10:00 AM – Snorkeling at Isla Tortuga

A local guide will provide a brief orientation for snorkeling.
Snorkeling gear will be provided (mask, snorkel, fins), or you can choose to take a leisurely walk along the beach.
Snorkeling duration: Approximately 1 hour to 1 hour 45 minutes, exploring nearby coral reefs and marine life, such as tropical fish, rays, and sometimes even sea turtles.

12:00 AM – Lunch on the beach

Lunch served in ours Ranch on the beach.
Suggested menu:
- Grilled fresh fish or chicken.
- Veggie option.
- Accompanied by natural juices, sodas, or beer.
Leisure time: After lunch, enjoy free time to swim in the crystal-clear waters, relax on the sand, or take a short walk along the shore.

1:30 PM – Departure to Playa Muertos

Reboard the boat and set off towards Playa Muertos, a more secluded and peaceful beach, perfect for enjoying a quieter natural setting.
During the ride, you can enjoy more panoramic views of the Nicoya Peninsula’s coastline.

2:00 PM – Arrival at Playa Muertos

Time at the beach: Playa Muertos is an untouched, serene beach with fewer tourists, making it ideal for relaxation or a short walk through its natural surroundings.
You can swim, explore the area, or simply relax and take in the views while the captain prepares for the return trip.

3:00 PM – Departure from Playa Muertos to the departure point

Reboard the boat and begin the return journey to Playa Tambor or Playa Pochote.
During the ride back, you can unwind and enjoy a final cold drink, such as a beer or natural juice.

3:15 PM – Arrival and conclusion of the tour

Arrive at the departure point (Playa Tambor or Playa Pochote).
