What should I bring to the tour?

We recommend bringing a hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable clothing, non-slip shoes, and a towel.

What kind of fish can we catch during the tour?

Common catches during the inshore fishing tour include jack, snapper, grouper, roosterfish, small tuna, and mahi-mahi, depending on the season.

Do I need prior fishing experience to join?

No experience is necessary. The tour is suitable for beginners and experienced anglers alike. Our captain and crew will assist you throughout the experience.

What’s included in the tour?

The tour includes the boat with captain, fishing rods and gear, bait, cooler with drinks, fishing license, life jackets, and a local guide.

How many people can go on the boat?

This is a small group tour. Capacity depends on the boat, but we typically accommodate between 2 and 4 people per trip.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Safety is our top priority. In case of bad weather, we will reschedule your tour or offer a refund if it cannot take place.

Inshore Fishing

Inshore fishing is done around rocks, reefs, river mouths, and estuaries and anglers catch Roosterfish, Tuna, Snapper, Jacks, Mackerel, Snook, and more, jigging or trolling.

Departure from Pochote, Tambor or Montezuma by boat on the Nicoya peninsula, Pacific coast, Costa Rica.

The “TANGO lll”, it’s our boat, a 26¨ feet long and 6’ wide, speed boat with 115HP YAMAHA (2019) outboard gasoline engine, cruising speed: 27 knots, plus Peen reels, GARMIN GPS, sonar, fish finder, music radio, VHF radios, safety equipment, vivarium for the bait, and an inside cooler.
